Annabel The Shop is my personal expression of style and thoughtful discovery. I’m focused on creating a unique curation of brands– finding more emerging, independent and female-founded labels. All of our pieces are handpicked with the goal of curating a collection where anyone can find something special. The shop is filled with things I love, that I hope you will too!

Born and raised in the Hamptons, I grew up as part of the local community. My parents are both small business owners, so I saw first hand the joys (and struggles) of running your own business. They taught me about responsibility, perseverance, dedication to your craft and the importance of community (especially in such a seasonal location). Most importantly, they instilled in me the confidence that through hard work and passion, you can find success even in the increasingly challenging world of small business.

After studying art and english at college in California and a brief stint in London, I moved to New York City where I worked freelance as a photo and stylist assistant. However, when the pandemic hit in 2020, I had to pivot. Like for so many people, it put into perspective what was important to me, where I wanted to be and what home was. I decided to move back to the Hamptons, adopted a dog and started putting down roots in the place that had most shaped me.

While living out East again, I felt that there was a hole in the market for shopping. We have so many luxury stores, but I couldn’t find the kind of store that I, myself, would shop in and I figured that others might feel the same way. Fast forward: I saw a space in Sag Harbor become available and quickly decided to take the leap. I opened my doors in Sag Harbor in May of 2023. Since then, I’ve developed a small but mighty team of amazing girls who have helped me grow my business. We’ve held a variety of pop ups in NYC and CA and just opened a second full-time location in San Francisco, CA.

As a young woman, who’s still learning and changing, the store continues to evolve and grow with me year by year. Please be apart of our journey, we’re so glad you’re here.
